"It is an honour to follow in the footsteps of our late Founding Chairman, Professor KB Chan, whose vision and leadership laid the foundation of the Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Industries Association. We remain grateful for his contribution and inspired by his commitment to advancing AI in Hong Kong. His words continue to inspire us, and his legacy will remain part of the heart of this association.
Looking forward, my focus as Chairman is to strengthen the role of HKAIIA as a bridge between business, technology, and society. Artificial intelligence is reshaping industries at an unprecedented pace — redefining how we work, create, and compete. From design and healthcare to logistics, finance, and manufacturing, Hong Kong has the opportunity not only to adopt AI, but to lead in how AI can be applied with purpose and impact.
